For operators of TCN vending machines in Austria
Age verification for your TCN machine.
Developed and tested on a TCN in Vienna.
Passport, ID card or ID Austria, then the face – connected through your TCN's MDB interface. For 112 issuing states, including all 27 EU states, we check the signature of the chip data.
Under § 114 GewO it must be certain that the person at the machine is the person on the ID. Legal basis: every letter in full (German)
We are looking for the first operators – no software or licence fees, you only pay for the hardware.
Why we know TCN
- Our first machine was a TCN. We developed the age check on it, in our Vienna shops, since January 2026.
- Tested with the TCN controller CSC 5" (BT5M25) over MDB, like any other device in your machine.
- We know its quirks. The TCN controller wants the full device ID at sign-on, or it keeps restarting the device. And with the machine door open it does not poll the device at all. Both are handled.
- Replaces your current age-check device on the same MDB interface.

- No. A driving licence has no chip the machine can check. Your customers use a passport, ID card or ID Austria.
